Are you really 24/7?+
Yes. An on-call engineer is rostered every night of the year, including Christmas Day. Out-of-hours work (after 8pm weekdays, Sundays, bank holidays) carries an out-of-hours uplift, which we'll explain on the call.
How fast can you actually get to me?+
Average response across the Home Counties is 45 minutes for emergencies. We'll give you a realistic arrival window in the callback — not a vague 'sometime today'. If we're ever going to be late we'll tell you straight away.
Do you charge a call-out fee?+
Yes — a £39 call-out fee covers the engineer's travel and the on-site diagnostic. Once the fault's diagnosed you'll get a fixed price to fix it there and then, and only pay for the fix if you agree to it. No work starts, and no fix-cost is charged, without your say-so.
Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?+
Every engineer doing gas work is Gas Safe registered. We're also WaterSafe approved for mains and cold-water work, and CIPHE members.
